*KS RUBIN had a great year in 2009. He competed in American Endurance Ride Conference (AERC) sanctioned events, competing in four different regions, with six different riders and completing nearly 1,000 miles - all in great condition. *KS RUBIN is truly an exceptional horse and displays all of the excellent traits which directed the development of the Shagya breed.

*KS RUBIN was imported to the United States, from Germany as a yearling. He is a nine year old purebred Shagya stallion. *KS RUBIN's pedigree reads as a "who's who" of European Shagya Champions, with his first three generations on top, being "Elite" or Champion Shagya stallions and mares.
*KS RUBIN's sire is the Elite stallion, PARIS (GAZAL XIX - Babolna). PARIS (GAZAL XIX) was used at Babolna National Stud Farm in Hungary for many years. He was a popular and successful stallion in sport and at stud for Shagya and Warmblood breeding and also stood at stud in Germany and the Netherlands. In the Netherlands he was used in warmblood breeding, producing the Shagya-Arabian sons Pegasus III and Tamias, as well as the Warmblood stallion, Pronto. PARIS' sire is the Elite stallion BARTOK, and PARIS' dam is the Elite mare, PAMINA, who is sired by the Elite stallion, AMOR. BARTOK is sired by the "Century Stallion" GAZAL VII, and is out of the Elite mare, BABOLNA. *KS RUBIN is linebred to GAZAL VII, carrying four crosses to this amazing "Century Stallion".
*KS RUBIN's dam, RASGA was leased for several years to the Netherlands. She is a maternal sister to the Elite mare Dalileh. RASGA was sired by GAZAL I, who has breeding approval in warmblood breeds. GAZAL I was sired by GAZAL VII, and out of the black Shagya mare OLYMPIA, a daughter of O'BAJAN X. RASGA's dam line includes the Topolcianky RASIM sire line which was very successful in Slovakia, and she also goes back to the Radautz bred DAHOMAN I. These Dahoman bloodlines are noted for their athletic ability, their toughness and endurance.
*KS RUBIN is recorded in the Rheinland Pfalz-Saar (RPSI) Stallion Book 2, for more information visit www.rhpsi.com . Additionally *KS RUBIN can be used as an outcross in the Hungarian Felver and Hungarian Sportlo books of the Hungarian Horse Association of America. At his first show, he earned the title of "Stallion Champion" at the Dressage Among Friends USDF Breeders Championship Series (August 2006). He was judged by Major General Jonathan Burton (VA) with an 82.3% overall score. Judge Burton gave *KS RUBIN a score of 9.5 for conformation!!!
